MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Robyn McCloskey has been appointed senior vice president of Community Newspaper Holdings Inc.'s Midwest Division. McCloskey will continue in her role as publisher of the Kokomo, Ind., Tribune and the Logansport, Ind., Pharos-Tribune.
"Robyn has a great deal of experience and a track record of success,” said Keith Blevins, CNHI's chief operating officer. “She has a great combination of talent and enthusiasm that will enable her to make a significant contribution in the communities we serve in the Midwest region.”
McCloskey is a 22-year veteran of the newspaper industry who joined CNHI as an advertising telemarketer for the Pharos-Tribune. In 1995, she became a regional advertising director under Thompson Newspapers. In 2001, under CNHI's ownership, she was named publisher of the Pharos-Tribune. Her position expanded to include Kokomo in 2008.
