2012 — The Pauls Valley Democrat, a 2,000 circulated, three-day-a-week newspaper in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma is searching for a publisher.

The ideal candidate will have newspaper management experience, be an aggressive marketer committed to driving revenue and improving existing products while developing new ones - print and digital - understand the importance of community journalism, possess team-building leadership skills and be active in the community.

The Pauls Valley Democrat, which is delivered via the postal service Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, is focused on serving its readers, advertisers and community through quality, locally-driven journalism. The location publishes a variety of other print and online products.

Pauls Valley is located in south central Oklahoma about an hour south of Oklahoma City and two hours north of Dallas. Pauls Valley, which is the county seat of Garvin County, offers a good quality of life in a smaller Oklahoma community that is a stop on Amtrak's Heartland Flyer.
